Mr. Okoi Obono-Obla who claims to be the Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Prosecution apparently is not versed in the separation of powers. When will Nigeria start inserting round pegs in round holes? The Senate President had questioned the propriety of the military declaring IPOB (Independent Peoples of Biafra) a terrorist organization in a civilian administration.
Since the Army is a branch of the Executive and not the People’s Army, the Supreme Court is also a branch of the Executive. The Supreme Court should remove President Muhammadu Buhari from office for failing to provide his WASC (West African School Certificate) result prescribed by the constitution, as a sine qua non to run for the Presidency of Nigeria.
Next the NNPC (Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, sorry, Northern Nigerian Petroleum Corporation after the Buhari reshuffling of key personnel from Nigerian to Hausa-Fulani) will start declaring oil bunkerers and local refineries in the Niger Delta as terrorist organizations. After all, they are “terrorizing” the NNPC.
Finally, Mallam Abubakar Malami the Attorney General, another Hausa-Fulani, will declare the EFCC (Economic And Financial Crimes Commission) a terrorist organization for daring to prosecute APC (Alliance For Progressive Change) members and sympathizers.
