SCIENTIFIC BREAKTHROUGH

Scientists at the University of Okija, Anambra State, Nigeria have made a stunning discovery. Concerned about the effects of extreme religiosity and tithing on the poor, they designed a study. The aim of the study was to find a drug that would cure extreme religiosity.

Fully aware that schizophrenics hear voices as ardent religionists do, they tested the drug, code named Akula® on 100 tongue talking, vision seeing religionists. 60 stopped talking in tongues, 80 stopped tithing 10% of their meager earnings to high flying, jet owning pastors, and those not stopping the abnormal behaviors, reduced their tongue talking and tithing from 30% to 70% of the original levels.

Given the remarkable results, the study was prematurely terminated. While the scientists are seeking approval for their discovery, the religionists led by their miracle performing pastors have mounted an intense publicity drive to take the drug off the market. They claim that the drug was invented by Devil or Lucifer to keep the people away from God. The battle between the scientists and religionists rages.
