HENRY OBAZE, YOU GOT IT WRONG THIS TIME
There are no Constitutional requirements for youths anywhere to lead civil disobedience. Civil disobediences led by youths are likely to be violent if not moderated by Elders. The Nigerian President who does not have a WASC result defined Nigerian Youths as lazy, criminal, uneducated, and hustling. “Highly educated” politicians such as Henry Obaze and Josephat Igbokwe did not reach the same conclusion, until a partially educated Nigerian President did. If this is not crass sycophancy and bootlicking, then tell me what it is?
Hereunder, is the definition of youth by UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization):
‘The UN, for statistical consistency across regions, defines ‘youth’, as those persons between the ages of 15 and 24 years, without prejudice to other definitions by Member States. All UN statistics on youth are based on this definition, as illustrated by the annual yearbooks of statistics published by the United Nations system on demography, education, employment, and health.
For activities at the national level, for example when implementing a local community youth programme, “youth” may be understood in a more flexible manner. UNESCO will then adopt the definition of “youth” as used by a particular Member State. It can be based for instance on the definition given in the African Youth Charter where “youth” means “every person between the ages of 15 and 35 years”.’

Revolutions are not led by youths. Youths lead riots, demonstrations, and protests. Nigerian Youths are no exception. The great Igbo leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu (MNK) led a peaceful protest against Fulani hegemony starting at age 47.
He founded the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) in 2014. IPOB is a youth organized grassroots movement, that employed rhetoric and peaceful means, to protest Fulani hegemony and Igbo MMM (Maltreatment, Marginalization, and Murder).
Nnamdi Kanu at age 50, after his release from unlawful detention in Buhari’s Gulag for years was disparaged, insulted, and derided as young, inexperienced, and brash by jealous Igbo Elders. Do you write love songs for your tormentor? A tormentor who is raping, killing your people, and destroying farmlands and properties or do you chide the tormentor?
Nnamdi Kanu was not a youth by World or African standards. At age 50, he is an adult. Since politicians such as Henry Obaze, the South East Governors, and Ohaneze describe him as a boy, it therefore follows that Nigerian definition of youth extends into the 60’s. You cannot eat your cake and still have it.

President Donald Trump of the USA and Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un of North Korea called each unprintable names before agreeing to a summit to discuss the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.
Igbo Elders led by politicians such as Henry Obaze, Peter Obi, Nnia Nwodo, the Igbo South East Governors, Igbo Leaders of “Thoughtlessness,” and Ohaneze mounted a vitriolic campaign of calumny and “whitemail” against the Igbo patriot, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. Agitations by IPOB drew worldwide attention and Alhaji Muhammadu Buhari, the Nigerian President, invited Kanu’s Igbo critics to Abuja. Instead of protecting Mazi Nnamdi Kanu who facilitated their visit, they conspired and colluded with Alhaji Buhari to eliminate MNK.
Using as a ruse, the threat to peacefully boycott the Anambra Gubernatorial Election, IPOB was proscribed as a terrorist organization by the aforementioned-Igbo Elders, paving the way for Buhari to join the bandwagon. With IPOB illegally proscribed by the Nigerian Government, President Buhari sent murderous HausaFulani Soldiers driving heavily armored vehicles and disguised as Pythons, (Operation Python Dance II) to attack IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, and his Royal parents. The whereabouts of Nnamdi Kanu and his Royal parents are still unknown. Twenty-six people and the family dog were shot dead in his family’s compound. It is rumored that they were either swallowed by pythons or run over by armored vehicles.
IPOB members were shot and survivors drowned in putrid standing water while Obaze and his fellow politicians except Osita Chidoka kept mum.
Henry Obaze, who had earlier cryptically supported the clampdown on IPOB by the following statement: “I know that INEC will conduct the election and security agencies will deploy their personnel,” played possum.

When the IPOB Youth faced down the Fulani Nigerian Army, driving their “Pythonous” Armored Cars and mowing down unarmed, peaceful Igbo Youths, Obaze and the other politicians did not protest. They wanted their election to go on to continue the political jamboree and looting.
Sacrifice must start from somewhere and then spread. Gandhi’s Salt March in India started from one location. Henry Obaze argues that starting a protest in one state is wrong: “Trying to stop the election totally in one state will not solve the problem, assuming you stop it in one state, other states will elect theirs.’’
Gandhi started with one march that spread all over India and resulted in Independence.

The same Obaze views were echoed by some Igbo of Leaders of “Thoughtlessness.”

It is appropriate that the revolution starts in Anambra State. Chief Nnia Nwodo, the Ohaneze boss had identified Anambra State as the pre-eminent Igbo State in his address to the Anambra State House of Assembly. If a boycott of the Anambra State Gubernatorial Election sets in motion the cascade, that will lead to the restructuring of Nigeria, will Mr. Obaze go along with it?
If Africastallestman is from Anambra and contesting the election, he will support a boycott or at least keep mum, knowing that bigger things shall follow.
No Pan Yoruba Organization, or Pan HausaFulani Organization, publicly chides another Pan Yoruba Organization or Pan HausaFulani Organization. While MNK was being sold for a few kobo by his brethren, a semi-illiterate Ganiyu Adams of the OPC (Oodua Peoples Congress) was being elevated to the rank of Field Marshall by the Ooni of Ife.

The same Buhari who is killing peaceful IPOB members is fighting Boko Haram Terrorists, who behead people or disintegrate people with explosives, under the code name, Operation Lafiya Doye. Lafiya Doye means “Peace by All Means” in Hausa. Operation Python Dance means “Death by All Means” in Hausa. Under Buhari, the Nigerian Army kills peaceful Igbo protestors and discusses peace, ransom payment, and release after a secret trial for murderous Boko Haram members. This is only possible in a shithole nation that needs to be restructured.
Restructuring was the main IPOB agenda, and this has spread to all nooks and crannies of Nigeria.
After the routing and massacre of IPOB members, Alhaji Muhammadu Buhari, the Life Patron of the terrorist Miyetti Allah Cattle Herders Association aka Fulani Terrorist Herdsmen was invested with highfalutin, spurious Igbo titles by Igbo Elders as a thank you for eliminating their Igbo Savior, MNK. Mission accomplished; the Elders may continue their looting party.
Now let’s revisit some protests and revolutions not led by youths. If youths start a revolution in Nigeria, and Buhari starts mowing them down, Henry Obaze will not utter a word. Someone with high United Nations connections could influence the Secretary General to issue a veiled warning to Buhari with a threat of an ICC (International Criminal Court) trial at The Hague.
1. On March 12, 1930, Indian independence leader Mohandas Gandhi begins a defiant march to the sea in protest of the British monopoly on salt, his boldest act of civil disobedience yet against British rule in India.” Gandhi was 60.

4. Nikol Pashinyan, 42, an Armenian ex-journalist, started the Armenian Velvet Revolution from Gyumri, not Yerevan. Yerevan is the capital of Armenia, and Gyumri is the second largest city. Their 14-day road march ended in Yerevan, as thousands, mainly youths joined along the way. A 17-year-old skipped school for two weeks and 12-year-old blocked roads. He forced out the dictator, Serzh Sargsyan without a single bullet being fired. At 42, he is not a youth, even by African standards. His actions galvanized the long-suffering youth in large numbers. Life expectancy in Nigeria is less than 60 years old. It is 54.5 years. It is therefore appropriate that the Nigerian revolt be led by those over 60 years old.

This same discussion came on board as I was travelling over this weekend in a public transport. I was utterly shocked to my bone arrow wnen the driver whom I consider semi literate by my own assessment said posed that Mazi Kanu had completely succeeded in negotiating for the Igbos and their welfare and that instead of the Igbos seizing the opportunity, they took the opportunity and threw it in the mud. Suffice it to say that the baby and the bathe water were thrown away.
