Africastallestman agrees with the Northern Oligarchists that the North must complete her 8-year term of the Nigerian Presidency. Asiwaju Bolaji Tinubu has met his match. He colluded with the Northern Oligarchists to topple President Goodluck Jonathan. Tinubu schemed to be Vice President so he can take over the mantle of leadership as soon as President Muhammadu Buhari becomes incapacitated. The frail health of Buhari was well publicized prior to his election. The Oligarchists resisted and instead chose a weak Yemi Osinbajo, who is a pastor, law professor, and politician. PPP for short.
The strange bedfellows (Hausa-Fulani and Yoruba) quickly assembled the APC (All Progressives Congress or Alliance for Phony Change) as a vehicle to wrest power from President Jonathan. They coined “Change” as a slogan and the gullible Nigerian populace swallowed the bait, hook, sinker, line, and rod. They are still suffering from indigestion.
When you invite a snake into your bed, be prepared for snakebites. Once the North took over the seat of power, they shoved aside Tinubu and his Yoruba co-conspirators and installed a wholly Northern political class to run the affairs of the nation. Federal character and the Nigerian Constitution were incarcerated at Kuje Prisons. The Federal Character Principles of the Nigerian Constitution insists that political, civil, and executive appointments be fairly distributed amongst the component units of the nation.
Tinubu appears not to have learnt any lessons from the Afonja-Alimi affair or the Operation Wetie disturbances. Whoever coined the phrase, “History repeats itself,” deserves a Nobel Prize.

The Northern Oligarchists checkmated Tinubu by picking a political lightweight as Buhari’s running mate. With Buhari severely incapacitated, the Oligarchists are insisting that the North must complete its 8 year, or is it 10-year term? Buhari has done two years. Another 8-year term by the North equals a 10 year term.

Plans have been completed to install a Northern Vice President that would control President Yemi Osinbajo and succeed him in 2019 and subsequently run in 2023 for a second term to complete the 10- year Northern presidency.
A deal is a deal. Since Tinubu agreed to a Northern Presidency, the North must complete her 8-year term. Tinubu’s plan to corner the Presidency for himself or his boy, Yemi Osinbajo who served under him as a Commissioner in Lagos State must be resisted by the brokers of the APC accord. President Yemi Osinbajo must not run for reelection.
As they say it in Nigeria, “Cony man die, cony man bury am” in Pidgin English. This translates: It is difficult for a fraudster to defraud a fraudster.
