NIGERIA’S SHARIA STATES TO REJECT VAT FROM ALCOHOL SALES

Following a Sokoto summit
the 12 Islamic Sharia States
in the Northern part of Nigeria
jointly and vehemently reject
any VAT from alcohol sales
in the Southern part of Nigeria.

Any Sharia Governor who accepts
alcohol-VAT shall be publicly stoned
because accepting alcohol-VAT
means that alcohol is no longer Haram
but under Sharia, alcohol is always Haram and
accepting alcohol-VAT is Haram.
