WHAT IS GOOD FOR COWS IS ALSO GOOD FOR PIGS!

The Nigerian Association of Pig Farmers implores the Fulani Government of Alhaji General Muhammadu Buhari to set aside 50,000 hectares of land in each state for pig farming.

Speaking before an assembled press corps after their meeting in Pigali, Kaduna State, the President of the association, Professor, Dr, Chief, Sir, Farmer Ezi Ęlẹdẹ Alade said, “Pigs or hogs reproduce and grow faster than cows. The growing Nigerian population needs pigs more than cows. Pigs are sources of gelatin used extensively in many food products.
America exported $6.486 billion of pork and pork variety meat in 2017. If pork settlements are established in every local government area, Nigeria could earn $10 billion yearly from pigs. These settlements, named *PUGA along with **RUGA for Fulani cows shall truly make the nation self-sufficient in animal protein. Add ***YAMA and ****CAMA Settlements for yams and cassava respectively and a green revolution is born”
