A COMPENDIUM ON SOCIAL MEDIA

A COMPENDIUM ON SOCIAL MEDIA

SOCIAL MEDIA

The social media has turned everyone who can operate a smart phone, computer, tablet, or other contraptions into a teacher, doctor, pastor, lawyer, comedian, farmer, dentist, accountant, philosopher, politician, computer guru, etc.

All you do is copy, paste, and forward any glurge or nonsense in your inbox to your contact list spreading misinformation. Do not forget to add, “forwarded as received.” The more the misinformed, the better for humanity!

SOCIAL MEDIA IS THE SYNTHETIC FENTANYL OF THE MASSES!

Anyone who told Karl Marx, that another powerful drug several times more powerful than religion, will be the new opium of the people will have been rebuked by Karl Marx. This new mass pacifier and distractor of the masses is the social media.

Through fake news, glurges (fabricated stories with a message), jokes, lewdness, and ubiquity, social media is being used to obfuscate, mesmerize, and subsequently numb any sense of outrage that is expected in any society that is being misruled, mismanaged, and micromanaged to death by dictatorial misanthropic leaders. Political perfidy and financial fiddling have become the norm in many of the so-called developing countries. These countries in fact appear to be retrodeveloping, weighted down by diversion of National resources to parochial or personal interests.

The utterly useless messages on social media are prefaced by such terms as “Must Read,” “Awesome,”

SOCIAL MEDIOCRITY

“The social media has become an avenue for disseminating mediocrity, falsehoods, inciting materials, and outright nonsense all in the name of socializing but really to make money for the owners of the media and owners of the content. It may soon become the antisocial media” – Chidiogo.

SOCIAL MORONS OR SOCIAL IMBECILES.

“Individuals who believe everything on social media that espouses their worldview without verification or enquiry” – Chidiogo.

SOCIAL DISTRIBUTOMANIA

“A mental illness where an individual forwards every post in her/his inbox to his/her contact list” – Chidiogo.
