Nigerians will be more patriotic,
When President Buhari who claimed Abacha never embezzled,
Now has Alhaji Abubakar Malami pursuing 320 million Abacha dollars.
What will happen to the money since it was not there?

Nigerians will be more patriotic,
When someone whose first name is Lie,
Is not made Minister of Information,
And head propagandist for misgovernance.

Nigerians will be more patriotic,
When criminals dismissed by one Government,
Are not reinstated by a succeeding Government,
With back payment of salaries and gratuities.

Nigerians will be more patriotic,
When the Nigerian Army starts confronting Fulani terrorists,
Disguised as herdsmen with real bullets,
And not words and expression of condolences to victims.

Nigerians will be more patriotic,
When the Government does not raise pump prices,
Of petroleum products domestically,
As worldwide prices are going downwards.

Nigerians will be more patriotic,
When Public refineries are revived,
Dangote refineries mothballed,
And not reopened until the Public refineries are at 100% capacity.

Nigerians will be more patriotic,
When oil blocks are wrested from private individuals,
Returned to the Nigerian people.
And ill-gotten profits returned to the treasury.

Nigerians will be more patriotic,
When Buhari is treated in a local hospital,
As every other Nigerian who is sick.
Ending medical tourism and foreign reserve depletion.

Nigerians will be more patriotic,
When the Army does military duties,
The Police does police duties,
And the Army not deployed in peace time in the country.

Nigerians will be more patriotic,
When the President of Nigeria stops acting,
As the President of Hausa-Fulani,
And becomes the President of all Nigerians.

Nigerians will be more patriotic,
When the security vote is abolished,
Estacodes made public,
And Government finances accessible on the Internet.

Nigerians will be more patriotic,
When Government officials,
Start driving Innoson automobiles,
In place of foreign automobiles.

Nigerians will be more patriotic,
When Legislators stop tweeting, get back to their chambers,
Authoring bills, resolutions, and holding hearings,
To control Executive malfeasance and corruption.
