ARM FARMERS AND CHRISTIANS, DO NOT SEND THE ARMY TO PROTECT THEM

If the Nigerian Army is professional, then Genghis Khan’s Army is the International Committee of The Red Cross. Report after report indict the Nigerian Army of directing, aiding, and abetting Fulani herdsmen as they massacre men, women, pregnant women, children, and infants all over the Middlebelt and Southern Nigeria. Their crime is protesting Fulani cows destroying their farms or that they are Christians.

When the Islamic Fulani criminals pretending to be terrorists exhaust their ammunition and the villagers give chase, they run into the safety of a military cantonment or barracks. The last attack in Plateau State is despicable, heart wrenching, and unprofessional. The Nigerian Army sent to protect residents under siege by Fulani herdsmen rounded up the villagers that they were supposed to protect. They were dispossessed of their Dane guns, herded into a classroom like cattle. Using hand signals in the middle of the night, they invited their Fulani brethren to execute the occupants of the classroom. As a cover-up, their lame excuse is that they were overpowered and outnumbered. Maybe, the soldiers exchanged their guns for the Fulani herding sticks.

Solution: Arm villagers and watch the cowardly Fulani herdsmen disappear into the night. The domestic actions of the Nigerian Army make its deployment in International conflict zones impossible. Imagine sending the Islamic Hausa- Fulani to the CAR (Central African Republic) to mediate between the Seleka (Muslim Militia) and the Anti-Balaka (Christian Militia). They would round up the Christians and set the Seleka upon them.

Muslims first arrived in the CAR as traders but became emboldened to topple the government of CAR and install a Muslim President, Michel Djotodia. A Muslim President in a majority Christian nation of 4.6 million, where foreign Muslims constitute 10 to 15 % of the population. Do you see similarities to Nigeria? The Seleka are as brutal as the Fulani herdsmen in barbarity. Could they have emigrated from the same Futa Jallon foothills?

The butchered and victimized CAR Christians, organized and fought back and are now intent on sending the Seleka and their Islamic sponsors back to the Futa Jallon foothills. The once victimizer is now crying victim. The Christians were able to turn back the Seleka with machetes. Imagine what AK-47s would do. Those who inflict unprovoked violence on the innocents are the first to cry foul when you retaliate. Muslims in the CAR are now alleging ethnic cleansing but they tried to cleanse the majority Christians out of the CAR by murder.

Africastallestman urges the Christians and farmers of the Middlebelt and Southern Nigeria to defend themselves with every weapon at their disposal since the Buhari Government will not arm them. Instead, he is sending soldiers to facilitate the killings. Cattle belong in ranches and not farms, schools, and towns. Are Fulani cows worth more than Nigerian Christians and farmers?
