BUHARI’S ALJAZEERA HAUSA INTERVIEW:
Abdul Abdullah:
Your Excellency, how are you doing?
President Muhammadu Buhari:
Thank you, I am doing well but my doctors have not discharged me from their care.
Abdul Abdullah:
Nigerians are protesting your continued absence and the police are pommeling them while protecting your supporters.
President Muhammadu Buhari:
I did not order the police to molest them. Ask my Presidential Coordinator, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo. On the other hand, don’t the protesting Nigerians enjoy sick leaves on their job? Doesn’t a President deserve a sick leave? Haba!
Abdul Abdullah:
Is it true that you now listen only to your doctors?
President Muhammadu Buhari:
Yes, the last time that the cabal forced me home, I almost died. I now only listen to my doctors.
Abdul Abdullah:
What if your doctors order you to resign?
President Muhammadu Buhari:
With the amount of money, the Nigerian Government is paying them, they will never want me to resign. I will be in London as long as it is necessary to get well.
Abdul Abdullah:
What if the house impeaches you?
President Muhammadu Buhari:
During the last visit of Saraki and Dogara, I warned them never to bring up the issue of impeachment. If they do, I will unleash the EFCC, CCB, ICPC, and DSS on them.
Abdul Abdullah:
You are indeed powerful. In most countries, you will have resigned or impeached. Thank you and wishing you a quick recovery.
President Muhammadu Buhari:
Goodbye Abdul. And do not forget that the British Government has earned over 500,000 pounds sterling from parking fees whilst my aircraft is parked at Heathrow Airport. I understand that grasses are growing around it. And my doctors are employed by the British Government. I may be in London for years.
His actions are unconscionable and grossly selfish by all standards.
