NIGERIANS AND THEIR PRIVATE LUXURY JET AIRCRAFTS.
As the Nigerian skies are filled with private luxury jet aircrafts,
The publicly owned aircrafts are falling off the skies.
As your passengers acquire their private jets,
What business do you have running an airline,
When your passengers have their own jets?
These private jets purchased with pilfered public money,
Have so inundated the skies,
That the National Assembly is crafting bills,
To create skyways for them and maybe roads,
From the airports to their castles.
Large sections of Nigeria’s airports,
Have been condoned off as VIP areas.
Why not condone off areas of Nigeria’s airspace for VIPs,
To forestall any hobnobbing with public jets?
VIPs my nyash!
Vagabonds In Power!
Very Important Pilferers!
Vainglorious Indecent People!
Very Ignorant Personalities!
The problem is with the oppressed.
Glorying and prostrating before your oppressor,
Removes any sense of shame, remorse, or both,
On the part of the misanthropic oppressor.
The oppressor is emboldened to commit more mayhem.
Until Nigerians start inquiring about the health of relatives and friends,
After a prolonged absence,
And not about how much money they have hauled in,
Without inquiring about the source of the money,
The current master-slave, oppressed-oppressor relationships will endure.
Every Nigerian with a private jet or jets,
Must show sources of income and tax receipts,
To justify such opulence in a nation mired in abject poverty.
To ascend from the abyss of penury to olympian luxury is commendable and emulable,
But you cannot use public money obtained fraudulently.
As the ownership of private jets accelerate,
So does poverty accelerate amongst the masses,
As money meant for the economic upliftment of all,
Is diverted into the luxurious bacchanality of a few.
Is restructuring the answer?
