OBASANJO COULD HAVE STOPPED NNAMDI KANU

Obasanjo could have stopped Nnamdi Kanu,
If Obasanjo restructured Nigeria from Kano to Kanan.
If Obasanjo did not introduce Sharia into Nigerian politics.
If Obasanjo did not hound Rt. Hon. Dr. Chuba Okadigbo out of political office,
And tear gas him to his demise.

Obasanjo could have stopped Nnamdi Kanu,
If he turned every Nigerian into a thousandaire,
Ensured two square meals for every Nigerian.
Instead Obasanjo turned billionaires into trillionaires,
And turned his penniless domestic servant into a trillionaire in eight years.

Obasanjo could have stopped Nnamdi Kanu,
If Obasanjo did not sell off the nation’s assets to his friends and cronies.
If Obasanjo did not award oil blocks to his domestic servants.
If Obasanjo did not give import waivers to sycophants, economic rogues, and parasites.
And feel triumphant about his achievements.

Obasanjo could have stopped Nnamdi Kanu,
If Obasanjo generated a single watt of electricity,
In his 11 years at the throne of Nigeria’s leadership.
With the nation in perpetual darkness,
Nnamdi Kanu sneaked in the country under a cloud of darkness created by Obasanjo.

Obasanjo could have stopped Nnamdi Kanu,
If he did not use the EFCC, ICPC, and CCB to hound and intimidate political opponents,
While shielding members of his thieving political and economic cartels.
If Obasanjo did not tear his PDP membership card,
And tacitly join the APC, Biafra’s arch enemy.

Obasanjo could have stopped Nnamdi Kanu,
If he did not prevent anyone but Dangote,
From selling cement, selling flour, selling sugar, selling salt,
And denying import licenses to,
Biafrans such as Ibeto,Tubokebima, Barinedum, and Epara.

Obasanjo could have stopped Nnamdi Kanu,
If he did not try to sell our refineries to cronies,
And sold our airports to Babalakin.
No Nnamdi Kanu if the financial shenanigan called fuel subsidy,
Was truncated from our budget.

Finally, the father of Nnamdi Kanu,
Chief Lieutenant General Olusegun Matthew Okikiola Aremu Obasanjo,
To want his son “dead,”
Is an abomination of the highest order.
Making our dead ancestors churn in their graves.

Nnamdi Kanu could have been drinking tea and eating crumpets in Britain,
If Obasanjo is transparent.
Neither Nnamdi Kanu, nor IPOB, nor Biafra,
Would have been created,
If Obasanjo is not a hypocrite.

Obasanjo should quietly retire to his library and farm,
And quietly enjoy his ill gotten wealth.
To add more heat to political debate,
Is the height of impudence and arrogance.
Or is Obasanjo protecting the illegitimate assets of his cronies?

Obasanjo should add his voice to the call for a referendum,
So that the raped citizens can confront their rapers.
The present structure is untenable,
And only the rapers can support such unjust arrangements.
Obasanjo, if you condone injustice, injustice will condemn you!
