There are more autonomous Kings in Imo state than Kings in the rest of Nigeria.
There are more high chiefs in one Igbo town than low chiefs in the rest of Nigeria.
There are more titles dispensed in Igbo land in one month than dispensed in the world in one year.

Every adult Igbo has a title; traditional, “academic,” fraudulent, or otherwise.
Every Igbo, male or female, with a traditional appellation has turned it into a gburugburu—worldwide—royalty title.
Any wonder any political visitor to Igbo land is now crowned King or Queen of the Igbos.

When Igbos bastardize their culture and traditions, what do you expect from others? Same.
