Why do humans hate humans with a different skin color?

Why do humans kill humans because of racial differences?

If we extended one-fifth of the tolerance shown to animals to—
Humans of a different race,
Humans of a different tribe,
Humans of a different religion, and
Humans of a different background,
Don’t you think the world would be safer,
More peaceful, and more tolerant?

How do we convince those who hate to
Accord humans of a different background
The love accorded animals of all breeds?
