FIFA AND INDEPENDENCE

FIFA’s independence is discretionary.
FIFA affiliates can be funded by governments.
FIFA loves this type of dependence.
However, FIFA hates auditing of grants given by governments by
the same governments that awarded the grants.
To FIFA, this is government interference since
FIFA means “Free Income For Affiliates.”

FIFA preaches dependence on government funding and
preaches independence from government auditing.
FIFA preaches independence in officiating but
takes orders from governments on reversing rulings,
especially if the requesting government is a superpower.

FIFA preaches impartiality and independence in officiating,
but delivers rulings so prejudicial that pigeons have protested,
protested by snatching yellow and red cards from FIFA officials on the pitch,
officials in the process of delivering compromised rulings.
So compromised that animals are aghast at the rulings.
Maybe pigeons can be trained to replace FIFA referees.

Is FIFA an independent body governing world football, or
is FIFA a reward for compromised and corrupt affiliated
officials to continue enjoying their undeserved sinecures?
FIFA needs urgent reform, including term limits, to weed out corrupt officials.
Football is already hard, and corruption should not be part of it.
