IN THE BIBLE:
King David was overthrown by his third son, Absalom.

King Sennacherib of Assyria was assassinated by his own sons and succeeded by another son, Esarhaddon.

NON-BIBLICAL:
Edward II of England (1327) was succeeded by his son, King III, after being deposed by his wife, Isabella, and her boyfriend, Roger Mortimer.

King James II of England and Ireland (1688) was overthrown by his Protestant daughter, Mary II, and her husband, William III of Orange, who invaded England and took the joint throne.

Emperor Shah Jahan (1658) was deposed and placed under house arrest in Agra Fort by his ambitious son and successor, Aurangzeb.

King Farouk I of Egypt (1952) was forced by the Free Officers Movement to hand over the throne to his infant son, King Fuad II.

IN THE FUTURE:
In 2027, General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, using tanks, military helicopters, and troops, forced his dad, General Yoweri Museveni, to flee to the United States of America and succeeded him as the Life Dictator of Uganda.
