WISHES COINED AS ANALYSIS

The USA has 2203 think tanks.
The USA has more think tanks than the rest of the world combined. Shouldn’t the USA be ahead of the world in areas of public policy, or are US think tanks not thinking but parroting the views of their financiers?

Views that become public policies:
The USA has think tanks on transportation but lacks public transportation infrastructure.
The USA has think tanks on healthcare but has worse health statistics than some developing countries.
The USA has think tanks on the environment but continues to pollute at alarming levels.
The USA has think tanks on democracy but is the most gerrymandered and vote-suppressing country in the world.
The USA has think tanks on hunger, but 48 million Americans go hungry every day.

Think tanks in the USA are vehicles to launder money and maintain the status quo while promoting the selfish interests of their financiers through gobbledygook research that won’t pass any rigorous testing. When these self-appointed experts spew garbage disguised as research, you begin to wonder how the USA excelled in different areas. Yes, the tanks of thinking have nothing to do with it.
