FIX THE HOLIDAY BEFORE THE MOON IS SIGHTED!

Islam pioneered math, astronomy, medicine, and other arts/sciences.

It is absurd to leave the sighting of the moon to humans, some of whom may be blind in one or both eyes.

When some Islamic countries observe a two-day holiday and others may observe a three-day holiday in the same calendar year, it shows that the system needs a fix.

For humans to manipulate religious holidays depending on the sighting of the moon is absurd.

If this practice continues, other religions may introduce similar events to artificially lengthen religious holidays.

Especially in a secular country, Eid al-Fitr should be determined by scientists who know more about the moon than old imams.

To lengthen a two-day holiday based on a moon sighting by an individual is disruptive to the economy and planned activities.
