Friends who commend your public posts privately but never publicly.

Friends who use your slip-up on a post to settle old scores.

Friends who advise you publicly instead of privately before going public.

Friends who also claim to have the same accomplishments as you when you inform them of your accomplishments.

Friends who keep good news to themselves and when asked claim that they thought you had heard the news.

Friends who are envious of you, your possessions, and accomplishments despite being successful in their own right.

Friends who won’t defend you when you are being maligned in your absence.

These are not friends but frenemies.
