Before the advent of cameras humans were unable to instanteneously record events. Humans observed events ruminated over the events and may or may not put it to writing.

Because writing is a skill that requires executive processing, editing by the writer or others and eventual publication.

Nowadays, any Moron with a smartphone can secretly record you pooping in a hotel room, post it on social media and get 1 million laughs

Nowadays, any Lunatic can record their incoherent and illogical thoughts, blare it to other Lunatics on social media, and get 1 billion likes.

Finally, greedy Lunatics can fabricate any ikpulity on any subject and post it on social media to generate likes and revenues while the world becomes less accomodating and convivial.

The camera that was invented for entertainment and recording of events has become a weapon of mass disinformation, misinformation, and dissemination of discord and hate.

Commonsense Intelligence does not apply to most humans if an event is recorded especially in a video format. The video has replaced the brain and every recorded event is never questioned but blindly forwarded a zillion times.

Except for Islamic Terrorists and other Terrorists, why would anyone with CI record the beheading of a human or sexual abuse of a child without reporting it to the relevant authorities—No?
