NIGERIA’S SENATE PRESIDENT, AKPABIO, BAN VOICE VOTES

MR. Akpabio, are you running a captive,  compromised, and servile Senate?
A Senate that rubberstamps executive bills.
Bills are passed without voting as obtains in real senates.

When a Senator with a booming voice shouts, is the Senator’s voice one vote or three votes?
Microphones may be manipulated to obtain the desired result.
Mr. Akpabio, no respectable legislature uses voice votes.

Mr. Akpabio, Nigerians want to know how their Senators voted.
Mr. Akpabio, stop using voice votes to conceal the identity of rogue Senators.

The Senators who rejected the electronic transmission of votes are toast in 2027.
Mr. Akpabio, stop making a mockery of democracy by using voice votes.
