The University of Okija has established a new degree, Tradis Doctor (T.D.), to be awarded to reputable and distinguished traders on an honorary basis.

The qualifications are:

1. Applicants must be 40 years or over
2. Must have been engaged in trading for 10 years or over
3. Must have imported at least 5 containers of fake goods into Nigeria
4. Must have swindled 100 or more individuals
5. Must owe more than 1 billion Naira in bank loans
6. Must have attended 50 percent or more market prayer sessions
7. Must be a Chief—Low, Middle, or High
8. Or an Alhaji with evidence of performing the hajj 10 times
9. Or a practitioner of Traditional African Religion with evidence of involvement in ritual murder
10. Three letters of recommendation from 3 Polithiefians with evidence of owning property in the UK or USA
