MEDICAL NEWS OF THE WORLD, POLITICS AND DRUG THERAPY
In a landmark Randomly Controlled Trial, conducted by crack medical scientists at the renowned University of Okija,1,800 patients with advanced brain cancer were split into three groups—600 Democrats, 600 Republicans, and 600 Independents.
The highly efficacious cancer drug, Ikpulicin, was deliberately mislabeled as Democin, discovered by a Democrat; Repucin, discovered by a Republican; and Indicin, discovered by an Independent.
The Democrats were further split into:
D1—received Democin—200 patients
D2—received Repucin—200 patients
D3—received Indicin—200 patients
The Republicans were split into:
R1—received Repucin—200 patients
R2—received Democin—200 patients
R3—received Indicin—200 patients
The Independents were split into:
I1—received Democin—200 patients
I2—received Repucin—200 patients
I3—received Indicin—200 patients
RESULTS:
This study was supposed to last 6 months but was interrupted abruptly because of the following:
Democrats
D1—received Democin, all 200 were alive at 6 months
D2—received Repucin, 150 were dead at 6 months
D3—received Indicin, 200 were alive at 6 months
Republicans:
R1—received Repucin, all 200 were alive at 6 months
R2—received Democin, all were dead at 6 months
R3—received Indicin, 200 were alive at 6 months
Independents:
I1—received Democin, all 200 were alive at 6 months
I2—received Repucin, all 200 were alive at 6 months
I3—received Indicin, all 200 were alive at 6 months
These results show that your political bias may affect your response to treatment. Cancer drugs discovered at Harvard University may not work in a Republican and cancer drugs discovered at Liberty University may not work in a Democrat. The same drugs will work in Independents.
There are reports that Trump may issue an Executive Order mandating that drugs carry the political affiliation of the discoverer to prevent unnecessary deaths due to patients taking drugs of the wrong political party.
The next study shall study patient outcomes and relationships to the political affiliation of the physician.
