THE REAL BENGHAZI
The hullabaloo, grandstanding, fabricated hearings, and tedious investigations about Benghazi boils down to one thing—Hatism. The Conservatives, sorry Republicans, due to inbred hatism, and the classification of colored people as less than human, a hangover from black/brown enslavement, have adamantly refused to acknowledge the Obama Presidency. To add further salt to their festering wound of illogicality, President Obama has a colored Attorney General and was in the process of appointing a colored Secretary of State when the US Ambassador to Libya was killed in Benghazi, Libya.
The Republicans were furious and consumed with hatred and went hunting to find anything to derail Susan Rice’s nomination as Secretary of State. Luckily for them, the preventable death of the US Ambassador to Libya, Mr J. Christopher Stevens in terrorist-infested Benghazi provided the Republicans in Congress with an opportunity to besmirch Ms. Rice. Any Congressperson or Senator who is unaware, that a US Consulate is not as fortified as a US Embassy, should be recalled by his/her constituents. Recently, the Michigan House of Representatives passed a bill that would deny a driver’s license to any foreigner in Michigan, whose visa was not issued in his/her home country. Do US Embassies/Consulates qualify as home countries—No.
Terrorists on getting the news immediately ordered several printing machines from Germany, so they could start cranking out fake US visas in their home countries to their operatives. Once these terrorists are in Michigan, they can infiltrate into other states. I believe that the congresspersons in Washington are no different from those sitting in Lansing, Michigan – poor knowledge of world affairs. No country issues foreign visas!
With the home countries of intending US visitors providing US visas to their citizens to visit Michigan, the US can pare down its foreign Embassies, and the Republican-dominated Congress achieves its purported cost savings. This is the same Congress that spent over half a billion dollars to train eight (8) anti-terrorist soldiers in Iraq. Embassy staff will be retrenched, since the Embassies do not have to issue visas because the issuance of visas, to intending foreign visitors to America, constitutes a major part of their duties.
The effective, easygoing, people-loving, and gregarious US Ambassador played into the hands of US enemies by traveling to terrorist Benghazi, without adequate security. The US Benghazi Consulate was not secure. To punish President Obama, the Conservatives steadfastly refused to appropriate money to secure US foreign missions. These are the same Conservatives who accuse President Obama of being weak on security. Being from “Kenya,” I guess that Masai spears will provide adequate security for America.
Initially, Ms. Rice was accused of writing memos for the CIA. When they found out that the CIA wrote the memos that claimed that the attack on the US Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, was not a terrorist act, they vowed not to consider her protestations because as the Ambassador to the UN, she should have used her mystical powers to know what the CIA did not know.
With Susan Rice’s nomination scuttled, a contrived Benghazi inquiry using Secretary Hillary Clinton as a chopping block was funded to the tune of tens of millions of dollars. This money could have been spent on providing sorely needed security for US foreign missions or expanding Medicaid for millions of Americans without health insurance, instead of trying to repeal Obama Care.
The Republican Congress killed Ambassador Stevens by underfunding US foreign services. The one question that Africastallestman has for Secretary Clinton, is why she did not send her Deputy or one of her Assistant Secretaries of State to make the Sunday TV Show rounds. It is only a matter of time before minorities (Black, Brown, Yellow, or Red) will occupy the three most coveted offices in the US viz. the Presidency, Attorney General, and Secretary of State. Time does not wait for anybody.
