DEFENDING PEOPLES’ RIGHTS MEANS DEFENDING RELIGIOUS RIGHTS

DEFENDING PEOPLES’ RIGHTS MEANS DEFENDING RELIGIOUS RIGHTS

Two types of Religious Discrimination Exist:
Banning other Religions as in Saudi Arabia or
Playing Religious Favorites as in the rest of the World

Isn’t Religion supposed to enthrone Equity?
Isn’t Religion supposed to enthrone Equality?
Isn’t Religion supposed to enthrone Harmonious Coexistence?
Isn’t Religion supposed to enthrone Justice?
Isn’t Religion supposed to enthrone Love?
Isn’t Religion supposed to enthrone Peace?

Do these achievable Human Attributes need Religion—No
Does Religion help Humans achieve these Attributes—No
Does Religion unite Humans—No

There is God and There is Religion
God is not Religion and Religion is not God
God created Humans and Humans created Religion
Human-created Entities are marked by
Strifes, Distinctions, Differentiation, and Discrimination

Can the world be safer without Religion—Yes
Could  Equity,  Equality, Harmonious Coexistence,
Justice, Love, and Peace replace Religion—Yes

Religion is not needed for Humans to practice these Attributes
When you defend Human Rights
You are defending Religious Rights
Since all Religions espouse these Attributes in Theory
But do the opposite in Public and Politics
How about replacing Religion with these Attributes?
