local production of goods,
the Naira was the king
of currencies in the 70’s,
so much so that Nigeria was
Father Christmas to
economies in
Africa and the Caribbean


Stronger than
the dollar
the pound
the yen
the Deutschmark
the franc
the ruble
and other ikpulities

Then the Military
overthrew the economy and
aided by
sycophantic, thieving civilians
the Nigerian Economy
started the slide into
the abyss of
the economic Bekaa Valley

Military-turned Civilian
Presidents or Dictators
continued the economic mismanagement
cheered on by the
World Bank
IMF, and other
deceitful alphabets
used to retard development

Today, Nigeria’s Naira
has become the Pariah or
leper of currencies
only to be handled at
your own risk
at arm’s length
with hedges, options,
and other ikpulities

Militaries in
Chile
Brazil
Indonesia
Thailand
South Korea
brought economic prosperity
to their countries

The Nigerian Military
brought economic Ruination
to Nigeria and Nigerians and
the only beneficiaries of
the economic meltdown are
the Military
their Concubines, and
their Sycophants.
