ELECTION RIGGING: LURID AND ASININE ARGUMENT VS LOGICAL AND SAPIENT ARGUMENT

I have been hungry for four years
I’ll exchange my vote for four cups of rice
And remain hungry for another four years
Less four days of plenty

I’ll remain hungry for four more days
I’ll willingly give my vote to a reformer
And I’ll have plenty for four years
Less four days of hunger

The former is the lurid and asinine
Justification by bribe-takers
Who subvert supposedly democratic elections
And institutionalize the rut in the system

The latter is the logical and sapient
Justification to reject bribe-givers
Who subvert supposedly democratic elections
And institutionalize the rut in the system.

Could bribe-giving and bribe-taking be GENETIC?
A gene more prevalent in some races
That makes those races not see beyond four days
Just a thought to jar the senses!
