AFRICAN CULTURE

To Africans, African culture is dancing, drumming, traditional dressing, masquerading, and singing.

To non-Africans, African culture is dancing, drumming, traditional dressing, masquerading, and singing.

Until Africans realize that culture is the totality of a peoples’ way of life,

Until  Africans realize that culture is not just dancing, drumming, traditional dressing, masquerading, and  singing,

Non-Africans will always see African culture as a spectacle to be displayed for enjoyment by others.
