How can any sane Nigerian discuss NATIONALISM:
In a nation with Unknown Borders
In a nation with an Unknown Population?
In a nation without a Constitution?
In a nation with no National Ideology?

How can any sane Nigerian discuss NATIONALISM:
In a nation run by Thievocratic Polithiefians?
In a nation that is the Hunger Capital of the world?
In a nation where the Government sponsors Religious Pilgrimages?
In a nation where a Foreigner can run and become President?

How can any sane Nigerian discuss NATIONALISM:
In a nation where Merit is a banned word?
In a nation that bans History Lessons in schools?
In a nation where Cows are valued higher than Humans?
In a nation with Foreign Exchange Dysphoria?

How can any sane Nigerian discuss NATIONALISM:
In a nation where the Executive is the Law?
In a nation where Terrorists roam wild?
In a nation where Terrorists are threatening to kidnap the President?
In a nation where Ransom is used to fight Terrorism?

Shouldn’t Nigeria first become a nation:
By writing a Constitution
By formulating a National Ideology
By keeping National statistics
By feeding its Citizens.

Discussing Nationalism in Nigeria;
Is akin to pouring water into a basket and
Expecting the basket to hold water.
How asinine!
How unpatriotic!
