How presumptuous of humans to influence the afterlife?
Your going to Hell or Heaven was decided before your death.
What is more asinine than to pray for the faithfully departed?
The faithfully departed are enjoying the fruits of their faith.
If prayers are needed, they should be for the unfaithfully departed.
Those are the ones needing help to make Heaven or Hell.
Without prayers, they are stuck in Limbo or no man’s land,
And will surely return as Ghosts to torment the living.

What do you do for the dead?
Give them a decent funeral, decent not expensive.
Finish their unfinished tasks such as books, works of charity,
Provide for survivors, if the deceased did not have assets.
Pray for yourself to make Heaven or Hell.
The Dead do not need our prayers, hearts, or love.
They are dead and do not feel anything.
Their fates were sealed upon death based on their activities,
While they were alive and capable of change.

Therefore, save your prayers for yourself and the living.
God gave us all the time to change our ways while we lived.
Prayers, some of which are insincere and are really mocks,
Do not change God’s decision on your punishment.
You did the crimes and God has decided your punishment.
Console the survivors, provide for them, stop praying for the dead.
It is all a waste of time and energy that could be for used for
More productive and humanistic ventures, to ensure that
Your soul rests in peace and not pieces after death.
