BUHARI’S SPEECH AT THE INTERNATIONAL CRIMINAL COURT AT THE HAGUE, ON THE OCCASION OF ITS 20TH ANNIVERSARY, IS IN PARENTHESES. RESPONSE BY AFRICASTALLESTMAN FOLLOWS

BUHARI:

“I am honoured to be with you here today to celebrate the anniversary of this vital global institution. I say “vital” because the world needs the ICC.”

AFRICASTALLESTMAN:

Agreed. The world needs the International Criminal Court to try murderous tyrants such as Buhari who has ruled Nigeria with impunity.

Absolutely, the world needs the ICC because of atrocities committed by leaders such as you.

BUHARI:

“Let me start by congratulating you, Judge Chile Eboe-Osuji, on your election as President of the International Criminal Court, and also thank the judges of the Court for electing you, a cherished son of Nigeria. Nigeria is very proud of you, Mr. President.”

AFRICASTALLESTMAN:

The ICC elects an Igbo man as President of the ICC, while in Nigeria no Igbo man has any significant role in the Security and Judicial apparatus of Nigeria. Only Fulanis from your village or state are deemed capable of playing any role in the Nigerian Security and Judicial sectors.

How can you be proud of Judge Chile Eboe-Osuji, while simultaneously launching a military operation termed “Operation Python Dance” that extrajudicially executed Igbos?

BUHARI:

“Let me also express my gratitude to the International Criminal Court for inviting me to speak on this occasion.”

AFRICASTALLESTMAN:

Why would the International Criminal Court invite a future defendant to speak at the court, unless for him to self-incriminate himself?

BUHARI:

“As we know, the International Criminal Court was established twenty years ago as a global court, inspired by the Nuremberg trials of World War II war criminals, to hold people accountable for crimes against humanity, war crimes, crimes of genocide and aggression.”

AFRICASTALLESTMAN:

President Muhammadu Buhari through his proxies Fulani Terrorists — masquerading as Herdsmen — the Army, and Security agents has killed thousands of Nigerians and buried them in mass graves. More people have died in Nigeria under Buhari than in the Balkans. His Army executed Shiites, IPOB supporters were executed and many drowned in fetid and putrid ponds. Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, IPOB leader was “disappeared” and probably killed by Buhari together with his parents.

If Nnamdi Kanu is guilty of protesting against Igbo maltreatment, marginalization, and murder, why arrest his parents?
Hitler’s, Eichmann’s, Goering’s, Himmler’s, Heydrich’s parents were not arrested by the Allies at the end of World War II.
America did not execute Tojo Hideki’s parents.
Buhari has committed worse crimes in peacetime than the Axis committed during the Second World War.
Buhari is the Milosevic of Nigeria.
Just as Milosevic did not personally kill anyone, Buhari through his patronship of the murderous Miyetti Allah Cow Breeders Association of Nigeria and absolute control of the Security Agencies has aided and abetted ethnic cleansing and genocide on a massive scale in Nigeria.

Buhari has committed crimes against humanity, war crimes, crimes of genocide and aggression and should be held accountable.
More intriguing is the fact that President Buhari claims to know the perpetrators of these atrocities but they are more powerful than him. The only one more powerful than President Buhari is President Buhari.
http://www.informationng.com/2018/03/president-buhari-finally-reveals-those-behind-fulani-herdsmen-attacks.html
Buhari has committed crimes against humanity by aiding and abetting terrorist Fulani Herdsmen, who currently as Buhari speaks, engage in ethnic cleansing and genocide in the Middle Belt of Nigeria.
Buhari was a member of the Nigerian Army that committed war crimes against Biafrans and Igbos. Civilians and non-combatants were massacred on a massive scale crowned by the execution of Igbo Asaba indigenes that rivals war crimes anywhere in history.
A policeman who executed six Igbos was recently promoted into the highest echelons of the Nigerian Police as a reward for his actions at Apo, Abuja.

BUHARI:
“In addition to preventing impunity, promoting adherence and respect for the rule of law and fundamental freedoms worldwide and to punishing those in leadership positions responsible for the most appalling crimes and atrocities, the ICC has given hope for justice to so many, by demanding strict adherence to the rules of international humanitarian law.

AFRICASTALLESTMAN:
Impunity in Nigeria is personified in Buhari. Buhari uses the EFCC, ICPC, DSS, SARS, and CCB to arrest, harass, torture, and jail his perceived opponents. Buhari has a history of capriciousness, impunity, and wickedness.
*As a military dictator, Buhari treated people based on religious affiliation. Buhari introduced Sharia law in a secular Nigeria and his actions are still shaking the foundations of Nigeria’s corporate existence.
*Buhari passed retroactive decrees and executed non-Fulanis for drugs crimes, which hitherto were not capital offenses in Nigeria.
*During his reign as dictator, he imprisoned non-Muslim, non- Fulani Politicians while placing Fulani Politicians under house arrest.
*As civilian President, Buhari does not allow civil protest, which is a fundamental worldwide freedom. Protesters have been tear gassed, clobbered, and killed by security forces.
*Buhari flouts court orders granting bail to defendants, he has rearrested bailed defendants without due process and thousands are languishing in his Gulags without trial or any charges being leveled against them.
*President Muhammadu Buhari has absolute disregard for domestic, international, or any humanitarian law.

BUHARI:
“With the alarming proliferation of the most serious crimes around the world, the ICC, and all that it stands for, is now needed more than ever, in ways that were unforeseeable to its founders. The ICC may have been created at a time of optimism that it would not need to be utilized frequently, but, unfortunately, the increase in international crimes has only increased the Court’s relevance.”

AFRICASTALLESTMAN:
Gladly, Buhari sees the increased relevance of the court in prosecuting international criminals who act ultra vires in their domestic jurisdiction.

BUHARI:
“Indeed, while limits on the ICC’s jurisdiction mean that it cannot presently act with regard to some of the dire crises of the day in states that are not parties, by acting where it can, the ICC reinforces the demand for justice far beyond its own cases.”

AFRICASTALLESTMAN:
The ICC must be commended for bringing a future defendant to its offices. After praising the ICC, it would be difficult for Buhari to exit the ICC Treaty of Rome to avoid prosecution.

BUHARI:
“A strong and effective ICC has the potential to send a powerful message about the international community’s commitment to accountability, a message that will be heard by both victims and perpetrators. Equally, a strong and effective ICC demonstrates the international community’s commitment to the rule of law.”

AFRICASTALLESTMAN:
The world demands that the ICC sends a powerful message to Buhari by commencing the investigations of atrocities perpetrated under his tutelage.

BUHARI:
“A strong and effective ICC can also act as a catalyst for other justice efforts, expanding the reach of accountability. These could include serious cases of corruption by state actors that severely compromise the development efforts of countries and throw citizens into greater poverty. These could also include cases of illicit financial flows where countries are complicit and obstruct repatriation of stolen assets. As the African Union Champion on Anti-corruption, these are issues dear to my heart.”

AFRICASTALLESTMAN:
President Buhari has the most jaundiced view of corruption. He fights corruption on the pages of the newspapers while he and his Cabal are the most corrupt people in Nigeria.
Buhari’s Election was made possible by the proceeds of corruption. His corrupt inner circle is expanding by the defection of utterly corrupt politicians to his ruling APC (All Progressives Congress).
The only change effected by Buhari is the plummeting of Nigeria’s rankings on any known indices of corruption published by Transparency International and other international bodies.
Massive cases of corruption involving Buhari’s inner circle has been swept under the carpet.
Nigeria’s external debt has quadrupled under Buhari while services have worsened. There had been two total nationwide electrical outages under Buhari.
The African Union naming Buhari as the African Union Champion on Anti-Corruption shows that the African Union is not a serious organization.
So corrupt is Buhari that he does not meet the minimum requirement for his office.

BUHARI:
“The Rome Statute created more than a court; it created the outline for a system of justice for horrific crimes rooted first in national courts doing their job, and where they fail to do so, the ICC stepping in only as “the court of the last resort.”

AFRICASTALLESTMAN:
The ICC is the perfect court to try Buhari for his crimes since there are no courts in Nigeria that have not been rendered ineffective. Judges are arrested in the middle of the night. Judge Adewale who adjourned Buhari’s Certificate scandal case till after the 2015 Presidential Election after a bribe of 500,000 Naira was offered to the Judge by one of Buhari’s Lawyers was retired in mafioso style. Hire a killer and kill the killer to obliterate the evidence.
http://punchng.com/buharis-lawyer-gave-justice-ademola-n500000/
All the courts in Nigeria are under the control of Buhari. Recently Buhari signed a law where he controls the finances of all the courts in Nigeria. “He who pays the piper controls the tune.”

BUHARI:
“The ICC also needs increased cooperation and financial resources from its member states. State parties should express their commitment to increasing efforts in these areas, including pledging concrete assistance.”

AFRICASTALLESTMAN:
Agree. The ICC needs more resources to investigate the heinous crimes being committed by Buhari, Duterte, Ortega, and their ilk. However, the ICC has enough resources to investigate Buhari.

BUHARI:
“The twenty years of the Court’s existence have witnessed several challenges, some of which had threatened the very existence of the Court itself. Most notable were the withdrawals and threats of withdrawals of membership of the Court by some States, as well as accusations of bias in the exercise of the jurisdiction of the Court. Thankfully, the Court has addressed these challenges in a dignified and
commendable way.”

AFRICASTALLESTMAN:
Talking about withdrawals, the Buhari Government had withdrawn from several unnamed international organizations critical of his dictatorship.

BUHARI:
“Nonetheless, the Court needs to take on board all constructive criticisms and allay lingering fears and concern through targeted messaging, awareness raising and possible modification of some legal provisions. If properly articulated, communication and awareness raising would surely engender trust and encourage greater cooperation of Member States with the Court and even encourage non – Member States to decide to become Members. It must avoid even a hint of bias or political motivations.”

AFRICASTALLESTMAN:
Prompt commencement of investigations against Buhari will show the world that the court is unbiased.
The ICC should extinguish the rumors circulating about its kid’s glove treatment of Buhari by initiating an investigation of his murderous regime.
Is the decision of the ICC not to investigate the Buhari regime, politically or religiously motivated?
Prosecution of Buhari will encourage non-Member States to become members, as this will show the World that the ICC is serious about fighting impunity.

BUHARI:
“The goals and responsibilities of the Court are no doubt very challenging and daunting but with the cooperation of all, coupled with the high calibre of Judges and staff of the Court, the challenges are not insurmountable. I, therefore, urge all States not to politicize the decisions of the Court but to always bear in mind the rationale for the establishment of the Court in the first place.”

AFRICASTALLESTMAN:
Why the ICC has not commenced investigating the atrocities of the Buhari Administration, which has been documented by Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International, Christian Groups, Intrepid Individuals, and President Donald Trump of the US.
After Trump publicly admonished Buhari to stop killing Christians, the killings have intensified as Buhari knows that President Trump does not follow through. He was also advised by White Hall to discount Presidento Trump’s warning.

BUHARI:
“I urge all States that have not yet done so to, as a matter of deliberate State policy, accede to the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court so that it can become a universal treaty.”

AFRICASTALLESTMAN:
Agree.

BUHARI:
“Nigeria has cooperated with, and supported the Court at all times. This, we have demonstrated by our full and transparent cooperation on matters on which we are being investigated and also in our several Country statements at the sessions of the Court. Our cooperation with the Court is borne out of our strong belief in the respect for the rule of law and human rights, and in our firm commitment to the sanctity of fundamental freedoms at international and domestic levels, as ingrained in the objectives for establishing the Court.”

AFRICASTALLESTMAN:
Investigation of the Buhari Government will be easy, as Buhari has pledged his support for any investigation. The ICC must not shy away from this investigation, as it would confirm the allegations against Buhari or vindicate him.

BUHARI:
“In conclusion, let me intimate you that Nigeria is preparing to conduct general elections in 2019. Contrary to the tragic incidents that characterized the 2011 general elections in Nigeria which necessitated preliminary investigations by the International Criminal Court, I assure you that all hands are on deck to prevent any recurrence of such tragic incidents. We shall do everything possible to ensure that Nigeria witnesses the conduct of free, fair and peaceful elections in 2019.”

AFRICASTALLESTMAN:
In 2012, Buhari pledged that 2015 would be bloody if he did not win the election. Despite several illegalities, including child voting in the North West of Nigeria, Buhari was allowed to take over the reins of power by President Goodluck Jonathan. Despite this concession, Buhari has unleashed Fulani Terrorist Herdsmen on Nigerians. These terrorists have killed thousands of Nigerians and have taken over their lands.
Meanwhile the Fulani commanded Nigerian Security Forces are aiding and abetting these murderers.
Wish that Nigerians had known that Buhari would kill, whether he wins or loses. He should never have been allowed to take over the reins of power. A non-Fulani commanded Security apparatus would have checkmated him effectively if he lost. In the recently concluded Ekiti State Gubernatorial Elections, agents of Buhari’s APC were caught on video distributing money to buy votes. If this is not corruption, what is? http://www.gistmania.com/talk/topic,362214.0.html
Buhari is basically an Islamist Jihadist in disguise.

BUHARI:
“Again, I congratulate the Court on its 20th Anniversary and wish it continued growth, relevance and success in the years to come in its vital role as a bulwark against man’s inhumanity to man.”

AFRICASTALLESTMAN:
The ICC must mark this anniversary by initiating investigations against Buhari. There are several petitions circulating on the Internet urging the ICC to investigate Buhari.

CONCLUSION:
Africastallestman believes that a quick way for the ICC to restore confidence in its impartiality and eliminate any trace of bias, is for the Chief Prosecutor, Fatou Bensouda to initiate a Buhari investigation immediately.

Buhari’s speech at the ICC will be a strong exhibit during his forthcoming trial at The Hague.
