AFRICASTALLESTMAN DOES NOT DESIRE TO BE A MUSICIAN, PRODUCER OR TV/RADIO PERSONALITY.
No one makes it in music, arts, or entertainment without some enhancement. Great musicians would be ordinary without sex, drugs, and alcohol. News anchors, TV hosts, actors, and producers would not excel without sex, drugs, and alcohol. The tsunami of sexual harassment claims against mainly male practitioners in the music, arts and entertainment industry will mean losses of greatly talented practitioners.
Imagine Snoop “Elephant” without marijuana, Ray Charles, Jimi Hendrix, Prince, and Michael Jackson without drugs. Bill Cosby and Weinstein would not have excelled without sex.
Women do not give up their body easily without begging or inducement. When does begging turn into harassment? As one African woman cautioned her daughters, “Do not be rude to men, God has made them beggars for your love. You do not know which beggar will become your husband.”
While Africastallestman condemns sexual harassment when powerful men and women use their positions of authority and money to cajole unwilling females and males respectively into sexual acts, appropriate begging for love or sex is allowed between adults. However, the begging must end if one party expresses displeasure at the begging. Exposure of private organs or sending lurid pictures is not part of begging and should be punished appropriately.
Africastallestman hopes that this new era of heightened sexual harassment and abuse accusations do not lead to Africastallestman being offered the jobs of a musician, producer or TV/Radio personality.
Africastallestman has zero talents in those areas. Therefore, all efforts must be made to retain the present talents that we have in those industries unless sexual abuse and/or harassment is proven beyond doubt.
