NIGERIA TO HIRE FARMERS FROM NIGER REPUBLIC.
Coming on the heels of the hiring of economic consultants from third world Malaysia to advise on its Economic Recovery and Growth Plan (ERGP), the Buhari Government is to spend 10 billion Naira to hire farmers from the Republic of Niger to cultivate crops in Nigeria.
The Minister of Information, Alhaji Lie Mohammed answering reporters’ questions said that Nigerian farmers are lazy and criminal as the Nigerians in the Diaspora. He added, “The Nigerien farmers will boost agricultural production by 120 billion Naira yearly. This represents a return on investment of 120 percent.”
