IS IT RADICALIZATION OR HOPELESSNESS!!!

For the pundits or the so-called experts or more appropriately talking heads to make their money, they have to invent buzzwords to explain events that they have no idea about or obfuscate explainable events. When Moslems blow themselves up in addition to innocent bystanders to make a statement, they are not radicals but hopeless people. Nobody who has hope for a better future blows him/herself up. Hopeless parents with hopeless children despite their hopelessness do not blow themselves up. Having children especially young children gives you hope. You expect that their lives will be better than yours, but the children know better. All they see around them is filth, disease, injustice, unemployment, crime, police brutality, hatism, and scorn by those pulling the strings of power.

The old may become immune to these unsavory events but teenagers and young adults are impatient. When they see no bright future, they would rather become famous martyrs in the pursuit of their causes than live and die miserably. This scenario could explain most terrorist attacks and could be applied to different environments. Human greed when the haves do not want to part with a little of their ill-gotten wealth to ameliorate the sufferings of the have-nots leads to the have-nots becoming increasingly hopeless. Without hope what are you living for? If your religion believes in heaven and a better after-life, why suffer miserably on earth?
