RELIGION: PRETENDERS AND PRACTICERS
Pretenders pretend to profess
A particular faith but may
Join any faith to garner:
Goodwill from Practicers,
Achieve a Political or Economic Goal,
Avoid labelling as Atheist or Agnostic,
And ultimately confuse the Gullibles.
Upon close questioning
Pretenders do not believe in
Their Professed Faith but
Believe that membership in a
Popular Faith is a Sure Ticket to
Financial and Political Successes.
This is Religious Chicanery.
Practicers, believe in
What they profess and
Practise what they believe
Within the limits of human capacity.
Discerning a Pretender from a
Practicer is next to impossible.
Impossible may be a weak word!
