UNILATERAL SANCTIONS, ANOTHER AFFRONT TO THE UNITED NATIONS.

United Nations founded to promote world peace through consensus,
Now managed by a Cabal of five veto-wielding members and
Chaired by the World’s Policeman, the United States of America.
The Policeman has sanctions on Cuba, Zimbabwe, North Korea, Russia, Iran,
Sudan, and Syria.
The Policeman’s European allies also have sanctions on those countries.
Russia has sanctions against Ukraine, Georgia, USA, and EU.
Sanctions and counter sanctions, are no instruments of world peace

If sanctions promote democracy, commerce, and world peace,
Shouldn’t The United Nations be approving sanctions?
Shouldn’t sanctions be amenable to UN vetoes?
Worldwide sanctions sure to modulate behavior of errant nations,
Unilateral Sanctions, cripple and impoverish poor countries.
Wasn’t The United Nations created to promote world peace?
Or have Sanctions taken over the role of the United Nations?

Sanctions nurture, rather than negate Dictatorships.
Sanctions give Dictators another rallying point for,
Real and perceived enemies of the Dictatorship.
No nation ever succumbed or crumbled under unilateral Sanctions.
Only citizens of Dictatorships suffer, not the well-connected.
If the United Nations is powerless to stop unilateral sanctions,
Maybe, the United Nations needs to be sanctioned!
