AFRICANS AND THEIR LAME EXCUSES.

AFRICANS AND THEIR LAME EXCUSES.

Blame Colonialism, Religion, Indoctrination, and Rogue Leaders.
Blame Brainwashing, Party System, Corruption and Propaganda.
Africans good at inventing excuses for failures and not innovation for success.
Hogwash, Balderdash, Stupid, Unthinkable, and Ludicrous excuses.
Africa and their invented lame excuses for failure.
When will Africans start blaming Africans?

America was once a British colony.
The British were once colonized by the Romans.
The Chinese were once colonized by the Japanese.
Israel once colonized by Islamic Turks.
All overcame their Colonialism, except Africa and Africans.
Africans now looking to China for more colonialization.

Europeans and Arabs forced religion on your ancestors, not you.
They also forced forced slavery on your ancestors, not you.
If you can unyoke slavery, why not unyoke religion?
Africans still flocking to Europe, America, and Arabia for more enslavement.
Invest in religion, reap poverty, ignorance, and disease.
Invest in education and technology, reap wealth, knowledge, and health.

Indoctrination does not discriminate amongst races.
Susceptibility to, assimilating and incorporating indoctrination does.
Africans incorporate indoctrinated ideas into societal mores and values.
While others discard indoctrination, and develop nascent ideas.
Africans keep shopping for, magic doctrine.
Now disguised as miracles and divine intervention.

Rogue leaders come from rogue people.
Every future African Leader, whether in Africa or the diaspora,
Is a Rogue African leader-in-waiting.
Roguish people deserve roguish leaders.
Isn’t the ballot box meant to discard roguish leaders?
Compromised African Electorate, elect roguish leaders.

Who washed the African brain that delights in stealing?
Who washed the African brain that exults genocide?
Who washed the African brain that launders public money?
Who washed the African brain that is shameless?
This may be the most stupid excuse.
Rewash brain with ideas of service to humanity.

Party system not the problem.
Successful multiparty and uniparty countries exist.
China is a successful one-party nation economically,
Liberty-wise, China is a Third World nation.
Germany is successful economically and liberty-wise.
People and not parties make the difference.

Corruption as old as humanity and not exclusive to Africans.
Non- Africans invest proceeds of corruption internally.
Africans export proceeds of corruption to rich countries.
There lies the African economic conundrum.
Africa exports her riches to rich economies.
Rich economies export their junk to Africa.

Propaganda travels by print, speech, or electronically.
Entire humanity susceptible to same propaganda.
While other races discard propaganda,
Africans easily swayed by propaganda because of superstition.
Superstitious people more amenable to propaganda.
Witchcraft, voodoo, religious extremism, and occultism are propaganda.

One solution – contract African leadership to non-Africans.
Revolutions not the answer as Africans hate revolution.
Remember Sankara, Lumumba, Nkrumah, all killed by Africans.
God and prayers not the answers either.
If God cared, God has the power to change the world, but God didn’t.
No single infrastructure ever built by prayers.

The cure for these lame excuses is genetic, whether by mutation or gene transfer.

  1. Americans, Europeans, Asians and different cultures world over, have more superstitions than Africans, why such handicaps are not hampering their development, I cannot tell. The whole problem of Africans, may be linked to the color of their skin, otherwise, many Italians were slaves to the nobility during the Roman times, but being whites, now, nobody knows who was slave or not, but Africans carry their permanent coat forever, and as such, stamped with the irremovable color with them, and seen yet as associated with slavery, inferiority, destructiveness and devilishness. I know some Africans who sincerely contend, that as far as the African problem is concerned, subjective, individual improvement and raising of ones financial and academic status is the answer…not understanding that the fact on the ground, is that, once you are black, and have a higher social status, you still bear the brunt of a being from Africa. On the other hand, God has His chosen people the Jews and (Ofu ife kwuru, ife ozo akwudebe ya), He also has His rejected people in the Africans. Where do we go from this daunting, heartbreaking, debilitating, devastating cankerworm, most humiliating, and dehumanizing features of Africa.?

    1. African superstition is real and permeates all aspects of African life blurring the divide between superstition as an adjunct to a goal and superstition as a goal in itself. Few Europeans or Asians believe that a human being can fly thousands of miles unseen to attack another human being, 99% of Africans believe in witchcraft. An European may have a “winning attire” for a game, the African believes that the attire will win the game. An Asian will drink rhino horn for increased libido, an impotent African thinks that rhino horn will restore his potency.

Africans had a God before the Jewish God arrived on the scene and there is no way that the African God will choose Jews over Africans. Just as the Jewish God chose the Jews, did the African God chose Africans. The problem is that African now have two Gods. Africans worship the Jewish God during the day and the African God at night (Shrines). God is therefore being pulled in too many directions by Africans. When you forsake your God for a foreign God, your God will forsake you!

      1. The below is a response to this post from a different forum:

A sound value system is the basis for which a country is built. USA was built on Christian values. Asians have their own and have built based on these values. The challenge of Africa is that we have failed to demonstrate and practice a consistent good value system. Therefore it is easy for people to embrace Christianity or Islam. Atheism is not a value system. A
this writer need to grow up and stop complaining like an amateur journalist. Let him define an African value system, publish it, advertise it. if good people will adopt it and it becomes easier to invest in education and technology purposefully.

        1. Value systems are not prescriptive. They evolve over time influenced by religion, politics, and culture. All value systems have shortcomings. The Christian value system that supposedly built the USA also built slavery, racism/hatism, internment camps, slums and separate but unequal schools and neighborhoods. The Asian, especially Chinese value system, still sees Africans as animals.

Lee Kuan Yew did not built Singapore on Religion. Religion may initially seem to be a good value system but increasingly with time becomes restrictive, totalitarian, dismissive, and anti-innovation. The dissociation of European States from Religion ushered in the Renaissance and Humanisn. The modern world as we know it is the result of this schism. Chinese are Atheists but are doing marvelously economically, while fighting corruption.
          https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2017/07/losing-their-religion-these-are-the-world-s-most-atheistic-countries/

You confuse religion and values. An Atheist has firmly grounded value systems as well as the Christian, Buddhist, or Islamist. The African Value System presently is geared toward crass imitation instead of innovation, sycophancy instead of constructive criticism, nepotism instead of merit, and superstition instead of religion. All these attributes are genetically determined but will abate over time.

The blogger is a seasoned satirist and philosopher and not an amateur journalist, whatever that means. Also he is not complaining but commenting on the sorry state of the African mind. How do you expect an “amateur journalist” to prescribe a value system for Africa? Professors do that.

If you write one, I will publish and advertise it but it will end up in the garbage can. If the West and East has good value systems as you allege, they would not be impoverishing Africa and fighting so many wars for economic gain.

Why did you interject religion into this discussion? USA has constitutionally separated church from state. The first step for Africa will be to revert to its traditional religion which would have evolved into something better over time just as Christianity evolved.

Africans are expressively very religious but inwardly very wicked and misanthropic, bothering on murderous. They are also bi or multi-religious, which I term a state of “Religious Confusionism.” Attend a Christian revival during the day, consult an Alfa in the evening and worship Sango at night. Is the President of an African country stealing the whole money in the state treasury not wickedness and shameless greed? This would be impossible under Traditional African Religion but the norm under Religious Confusionism.

Africans in the diaspora illustrate the difficulty of imprinting value systems on Africans.

  2. 1. “It would be an impossible sell to…” The white man will not say that. They will research, build and test options to achieving that change. So all journalists disappoint me because they are smart but stop at advocacy.
    2. If the gene of influenceability is in Africans why do we not retain and practice all good lessons of the West when we live in diaspora or absorb it from them when they visit Africa? Africantalleststatesman said we in diaspora do well when with our hosts but revert to our old ways when amongst Africans. He is truly intellectual to make these observations and articulate them well. But I don’t agree on the gene theory because since the oyibo who brought Christianity left why did we not abandon the faith and revert to tradition only? I think Africans want to eat their cake and have it.
    3. it is possible that those people in diaspora are simply missing home and so are constantly talking tradition, maybe also as a consequence of the biases in the West.
    4. My final point, “There are no compassionate ways to remake oneself, you have to murder who you are to remake yourself in the image of what you want to become”. Therefore if an african believes in the values and benefits of the West they should remake themselves and join fully. If they prefer African values and benefits they should adopt that and stay fully in it. It seems to me that on either side there will be more peace of mind even if without full satisfaction. To try and combine bit as we are all doing is to eat our cake and have it. This can create schizophrenia. Having said that, some Asian cultures like japan have maintained their values and religion and done western tech too. South Korea did both Christianity and tech well. So maybe the issue is “what is the quality of African values? does it inspire good ethics, hardwork, empathy, self respect, etc. I think that if our African values are developed to have all these positives we can succeed with western tech and still keep the good african values and religion. Life is aspirational and God rewards good values and good people if they remain consistent. submitted.

      Africastallestman:
Have you ever thought that the White man not saying that could be genetically determined?
Africans do not read. They indulge in gossip and magical videos. Advocacy can be silenced by money. Africans votes are buyable at election time. Display of knowledge by an African amongst Africans is deemed elitist, ITK (I too know) or all-knowing (Okachamara). Other races value their intellectuals. How do you teach Africans to value knowledge over money and materialism if Africans do not read? My position is that values are innate qualities that can be awoken. You cannot teach it. How do you teach someone who only reads to pass examinations and stops reading once the degree is awarded? Africans are happy in the midst of hardship. https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2016/01/160114113520.htm Next to be discovered is the gene for Influenceability by External Authoritative Forces.

      Africastallestman:
We practice the good lessons when the External Authoritative Force (White man) is present but revert to our old ways when that force is gone. My Nigerian friend told me a story of an Israeli who owned a metal fabricating shop in Abuja. The quality of work is high when the owner is present and diminishes in his absence. He hired an Israeli laborer without any knowledge of metal fabrication. This impostor was permanently stationed in the shop and the Africans operated at high levels of skill and efficiency in the mistaken belief that he was an engineer. They were trying to show this impostor that they were better fabricators.
If not genes, what explains the schizophrenic behavior of the African in the diaspora who exhibits a dual personality? You are right. Africans want to eat their cakes and have them too. When Christian prayers fail to yield a child, the Dibias, Babalawos, Alfas, and Marabouts are thrown into the mix. The Japanese fully accepted Western technology but African Voodoo can “influence” Western technology even amongst educated Africans. There is no dividing line between superstition and science for most Africans. One Ph.D. holder in electrical and computer engineering believes that a “Bakassi” knife blade will turn red if waved at a criminal. Very brilliant engineer, but very superstitious African. It is thus easy for him to explain his engineering foibles by superstition! Why have “Educated Africans” not developed the elusive values that you are alluding to? The lack of an African written tradition may be by design, so as to muddle issues. All non-black cultures and civilizations except Black Africans had documentation of their civilizations.

      3. it is possible that those people in diaspora are simply missing home and so are constantly talking tradition, maybe also as a consequence of the biases in the West.

      Africastallestman:
Their creation of an “African Home” amongst fellow Africans in the diaspora only robs them of the intellectual and technological advances of the West, as they tend to retard the progress of Africans in the diaspora. The influenceability of the African brain makes the African believe a demented professor who is illogical than a sound baccalaureate degree holder who is talking sense. Disagreeing with “authority” is anathema to the African. Discovering this gene is Nobel Prize material. Genes have been discovered that explain the Nigerian and African phenomenon of trivializing major events by humor. Why not create an African bias to fight Western bias? An example would be to label the West as inferior to Africans and watch Africa blossom. Why not substitute white for black as in black lies being superior to white lies? Efforts by Africastallestman to substitute white for black in describing evil has been met with opprobrium by Africans. How do you instill values in a self-deprecating race?

Africastallestman:
“Japan had imitated the West but had retained its own identity.” http://westerncivguides.umwblogs.org/2012/05/03/industrialization-of-japan/ Africans chose to intermix Western Technology with Africa Voodoo instead of assimilating Western technology and keeping “African Values.” Such hybridization does not work in science and technology. The West “cursed” Asia with its technology but Africans can only curse Africans, African Voodoo is only effective on Africans and why does Africa not export its Voodoo? The answer for these Schizophrenic behaviors may lie in the genes. If values are teachable, why are the so-called educated Africans no different from the proverbial “market women” in clinging on to superstition. An European may have a “winning attire” for a game; the African believes that the attire will win the game. An Asian will drink rhino horn for increased libido; an impotent African thinks that rhino horn will restore his potency. Are these explainable by our genes?

THE STRUGGLE CONTINUES. MAYBE WE CAN COOPERATE TO DESIGN THIS NEW VALUE SYSTEM BUT SELLING IT WILL BE TOUGH BUT WE MUST GIVE IT A TRY.

  3. This is very good work. Well researched and written. However it helped to strengthen my point. 1. The writer should not stop at saying get a value system. Most intelligent people know that need already. So experts like journalists should go deeper and draft that value system and advocate it. 2. I mentioned 2 examples of value system, the US Christian values and Asian values which include religious and non religious, like Buddhism, Shintoism, etc. Indeed values don’t need to be religious but it will eventually become that if the society worship and celebrate those values. If they simply live the values without celebration, it will remain as values or even can be termed atheism. Even atheists have values. 3. A value system formed by a group of people does not necessarily have to be good for other people or may even seek to protect their own people from others and in extreme cases they specifically exclude and persecute others who are not of their value system, like the USA did with slavery and as Islam is doing globally. I was not criticising the journalist unfairly but challenging him to go above the level of Adeola and other such advocates for change who stop at the level of saying what is wrong, sometimes saying what is better, but not acting on it.

  4. Response:

it looks like we are all on the same page on these issue. Yes the struggle continues. I don’t have bandwidth to invest in documenting and publishing the values yet. I’m trying to find money to pay school fees. maybe in due course.

  5. Wonderful God ,Wonderful Humanity….Now we come to the point. The point of thinking about our world unflinchingly. This is the actual food of the human spirit indeed. Thanks to Nzeozo and Africastallestman.
